🫡 Before we go
If you grew up watching PBS in the ‘80s and ‘90s, you likely remember The Frugal Gourmet. Jeff Smith was a Tacoma icon, a celebrity chef, and a former chaplain at the University of Puget Sound who made international cooking feel accessible to millions.
However, a new documentary series titled "I Bid You Peace" explores the dark double life behind his cheerful TV persona.
Thank you for reading, and I'll see you on Thursday.
