🍕 Before we go

Bar Rosa
You don't have to drive to Seattle for a world-class slice. South Sound pizza is booming right now, and these five spots are proof:
Bar Rosa (Tacoma): A 21+ date night spot built around an imported Italian oven, serving Neapolitan pies with beautifully blistered crusts.
Salamone's Pizza (Stadium District): True New York style, massive foldable slices, and the go-to for a quick lunch.
Millville Pizza Co. (Gig Harbor): A cozy spot on Harborview Drive with artisan wood-fired pies named after local fishing boats.
Camp Colvos Brewing + Pizza Co. (Tacoma): A massive taproom on Commerce Street serving 18-inch New York-style pies alongside 18+ beers on tap. Watch for the daily "Fancy Meat" and "Fancy Veg" chef specials.
Tacoma Pie (6th Ave): Detroit-style deep dish with thick, airy crusts and crispy caramelized edges, plus ping pong and bocce.
Thank you for reading, and I'll see you next Thursday.
